  目前在工业生产中许多金属工件经切削加工后普遍会产生局部或部分毛刺,这些毛刺如果不被去掉将会造成许多不必要的麻烦。比如液压阀体和气动零件上的毛刺和脱落的金属粉末,一旦进入液压或风动系统中将会产生严重的紊流或非层流,导致过滤器或管道堵塞;而在切削过程中,毛刺若垫在零件的基面上将会严重影响加工精度。目前,世界上在去毛刺技术有了很大的发展,高压水射流技术是近些年日趋发展成熟的一项新型清洗技术,该技术具有投资少、易于实现自动化,环保无污染等优点。使用高压清洗机去除毛刺既柔和又彻底,人工不能处理或很难处理的地方都可以轻松清理掉。目前较多公司还使用人工清洗来去除毛刺,费时又费力,使用高压清洗机进行清洗作业就可轻松解决这一难题。
